Whether it's a work gathering/event/function, a family occasion/celebration/get-together, or just a plain old day/time/moment, that promise of deliciousness can make/sweeten/seal the deal.

I mean, have you ever seen someone more engaged than a human about to take a nap? It's like they can't tolerate the tension.

This Dress Code Is a Shackle on My Soul

Every morning/day/time I wake up, I'm reminded of the bars/walls/boundaries that confine me. Putting on this uniform/Donning this dress code/Slipping into this mandatory attire feels like a sentence, a restriction/limitation/confinement on my freedom/ability to express myself/personality. It strips away/erases/conceals who I truly am check here and forces me into a mold/box/role that doesn't fit/suit/match me.

  • It's not just the clothes, it's the feeling of being controlled/oppressed/dehumanized.
  • We're not allowed/permitted/encouraged to be individuals/unique/ourselves when we have to wear this.
  • This uniform is a symbol/reminder/constant of the lack of choice/powerlessness/restrictions we face every day.

I long for the day/When I can shed this/uniform/dress code/sentence and be free/myself/who I truly am.

School Pride? Never Heard Of Her

Ugh, the halls is the absolute worst. I mean, who even cares about being first? All that fuss over a match is just not my thing. I'd rather be {doinghanging out with friends than cheering for some silly mascot. Let's be real, school should be about learning, not this whole superficial pride thing.

  • Look at all the stress they put on us to conform. It's like they want us to be robots
  • Show me a world where thinking for yourself is valued over forced unity

My Backpack's Heavier Than My Fandom

Seriously though, my backpack/bag/rucksack is packed solid/stuffed to the brim/bursting at the seams with books/papers/textbooks. I swear, it's heavier/weightier/more burdensome than my whole fandom/fan base/community combined. My friends/fellow fans/supporters are super chill/understanding/cool about it though, they know I'm always carrying/transporting/dragging around a mountain/ton/pile of schoolwork/assignments/reading. Maybe someday I'll get to leave it behind/ditch it/abandon it and just focus on being fangirl/enjoying the fandom/sharing my love, but for now, this burden/responsibility/weight is part of the journey.
